Ayonix Zoomer for Zoom

How to add, use and remove the app, what data it processes, and how to get help. 日本語の説明はこのページの後半にあります。

What Ayonix Zoomer does

Ayonix Zoomer is an attendance-integrity console for organisations that deliver compulsory training over Zoom — compliance, certification and regulated-industry courses where the organisation must be able to evidence who actually attended.

Zoom remains the meeting application. Ayonix Zoomer sits alongside it and gives the meeting host a single screen showing, per participant: whether a face is visible, whether that face matches the person enrolled for the course, whether the camera is on, and whether anything needs the host's attention. It produces an end-of-meeting report.

What it does not do

Requirements

Adding the app

The app is connected from inside Ayonix Zoomer. You authorise it once, with your Zoom account.

  1. Sign in to https://zoomer.ayonix.com as an administrator.
  2. Open 設定 (Settings) from the left-hand navigation.
  3. In the Zoom連携 (Zoom integration) panel, select Zoomアカウントを接続 (Connect Zoom account).
  4. You are redirected to Zoom. Sign in if prompted, review the permissions being requested, and select Allow.
  5. Zoom returns you to Ayonix Zoomer. The Zoom panel now shows 接続済み (Connected) together with the date of connection.

You can also install from the Zoom App Marketplace listing by selecting Add, which runs the same authorisation flow.

Permissions requested, and why

PermissionWhy the app needs it
View your user informationConfirms which Zoom account is connected, so meetings are attached to the right organisation.
View your meetingsLets an administrator pick an existing Zoom meeting to link to a training session.
Create meetings on your behalfPowers the "Create Zoom meeting" button, so a training session and its Zoom meeting are created together.
View past meeting participantsMatches the people who attended the Zoom meeting to the trainees enrolled on the course.

The app requests no permission to access recordings, chat, files, or other users' accounts, and it never modifies your Zoom account settings.

Using the app

1. Enrol your trainees

Go to 受講者登録 (Enrolment) and add trainees individually or by CSV import. For identity verification, capture a reference photo for each trainee with their explicit consent. Only a mathematical face template is stored — the photograph itself is not retained.

2. Create or link a training session

In 研修管理 (Training sessions), create a session. Either select Zoomミーティングを作成 (Create Zoom meeting) to have the app create the meeting for you, or link an existing meeting from your Zoom account. Assign the trainees who should attend.

3. Run the meeting

Host the meeting in Zoom exactly as you normally would. In Ayonix Zoomer, open ライブ会議 (Live Meeting) and select the meeting. The console shows participants with their current status, highlights anyone needing attention, and lists events as they open and resolve.

4. Review and report

After the meeting, レポート (Reports) gives attendance and participation figures per trainee, exportable as CSV, JSON or PDF. イベント (Events) and 証跡・ログ (Audit log) hold the detailed record.

Tell your participants. Notify attendees that identity verification is in use before the session, and obtain the consent your jurisdiction requires. Face data is biometric personal information — in Japan it is 個人識別符号 under the APPI.

Removing the app

Option A — disconnect from within Ayonix Zoomer

  1. Sign in to https://zoomer.ayonix.com as an administrator.
  2. Open 設定 (Settings) → Zoom連携.
  3. Select 切断 (Disconnect).

The stored Zoom access and refresh tokens are deleted immediately and the app stops calling the Zoom API on your behalf.

Option B — uninstall from the Zoom App Marketplace

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Select Manage → Added Apps, or search for Ayonix Zoomer.
  3. Select the app, then select Remove.
  4. Confirm the removal.

Troubleshooting

"Invalid redirect" when connecting

The redirect address registered for the Zoom app does not match the one being requested. Contact support — this is a configuration issue on our side, not something you can fix.

The Zoom panel still shows "not connected" after authorising

Authorisation expires if it takes longer than 10 minutes. Select Zoomアカウントを接続 again and complete it in one go. If the panel reports a specific error, include that message when contacting support.

"Create Zoom meeting" fails

The connection was authorised before meeting-creation permission was granted. Disconnect and reconnect the Zoom account to refresh the permissions.

Participants are not matched to trainees

Matching uses the email address, then the trainee ID in the display name, then the name. Ask attendees to join with the email registered for the course, or match them manually in the live console.

Support

We aim to respond to support requests within one business day (Japan Standard Time).
